Dove Bowls

These are bowls which I did recently on the wheel during one of my pottery lessons with a local potter called Hilary Jenkinson. You can take a look at her pottery on the website at http://www.crannmorpottery.com/ Again I used icing cutters to cut out the doves. The glaze did not come out properly, so I am thinking of asking her to refire them.

Flower & Butterfly Jug

This jug was created using coils of clay and decorated with butterflies and flowers.

St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Bowl

    



When it was St.Patrick's Day I made a bowl and decorated it with butterflies, leaves and flowers. This is the result!





 

Thrown Pots

These are my latest creations. I produced all of these on the wheel. They've had their first firing and now I'm considering what colours to glaze them in. The pot on the left is my favourite!

WOODLAND VASE

This vase was inspired by the woodlands near where I live. It was created using a rolled out slab of clay into which I pressed leaves. I then added cut out ivy leaves using kitchen icing cutters. It was a lot of fun to make.
